“We have worked with both Joanne and Lauren for our son’s dyslexia. Both have developed a wonderful rapport with our son, making tasks fun even if they are difficult for him and providing lots of positive encouragement. We chose 3Li because of the depth of knowledge possessed by the practitioners. They have strong backgrounds in both language and literacy and have been well ahead of the curve in treating both areas in individuals with dyslexia.  In addition to teaching decoding/encoding skills, the treatment sessions also target language skills needed to become not only a competent reader but also a competent writer.  We do not feel writing is well taught in the public school setting (particularly with students with dyslexia) and we don’t think we would get this type of intervention at other tutoring centers.  We’re thankful our son has gotten this level of support at ages 8-9.”
